Josh Humbrecht received his J.D. in 2009 from Southern Illinois University where he graduated Magma Cum Laude.  During law school he was active in trial advocacy and committed to experiencing the legal profession.  Following his first year he clerked for Justice Stephen Spomer, 5th District Appellate Court.   Josh served as a research assistant to Professor Leonard Gross while working with the O'Neill & Barke law firm. He began working as a law clerk with Hassakis & Hassakis, P.C. in 2008 and was offered a position as an associate upon graduation.  In 2005, Josh received his bachelor's degree from Illinois State University where he double majored in political science and history and was active in the mock trial program. 

Josh has tried cases in the Circuit Courts, before the Workers' Compensation Commission and argued successfully before the Appellate Court's Workers' Compensation Division.

Josh grew up in New Lenox, Illinois where he graduated from Lincoln Way High School.  He is married to Monika Hall of Frankfort, Illinois. They now live in Benton, Illinois and are enjoying all that southern Illinois has to offer.
